Okay.... Drinking my coffee this morning and I told Roger how nice it would be to have a sun room because I love the feeling of sun hitting my body in any weather, especially on a cold morning. I went over to the window to raise the blinds and got distracted by how dirty they were and went back to the kitchen to get a towel and windex spilling my coffee on the chair in the process. Then as I moved over to do the other window (I couldn't just do one could I?) I noticed the ice frozen on my fountain and how pretty the reflection looked. I have always been a sucker for light and glass and this made me want a picture of it really badly, but I was after all, right in the middle of cleaning windows. I moved over to the french door windows and managed to get through cleaning one and a half before I had to sneak and take a picture or two. Here are some of them I managed. The fountain shadows happened as I took the first shot and realized as I was taking it I saw the shadow on the window. I tried to capture the shadow only in the next shot. Not too bad. Kinda neat. The violet is one that my great grandmother had. My Nana had it after her and I have had it now for close to 20 years. I am not sure how old it is. Notice the Star Trek bowl below it. It was Gabriel's first little boy-toddler cereal bowl. When it cracked I did not want to throw it away and it has had that home ever since.
